KBIS 2015 pulled out all the stops this year
From the latest accessories for the home to show-stopping “wow factors” this year’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show had something for everyone. The 2015 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), the largest North American platform devoted to kitchen and bath industry design, wrapped its 51st annual show at the Las Vegas Convention Center in larger than life Vegas style! The three-day show introduced this seasoned PR Professional to exciting new products and trends that were truly inspiring!
Atlas Homewares launched the season with a new finish. The Slate finish is part matte and all the chic you’d expect from the trend-setting company. This modern alternative to stainless steel is available in Atlas Homewares’ best selling collections, including Ergo, Nobu, Sutton Place, Browning, IT and U-Turn. They also showcased their Steam Punk Collection which is quickly turning into the must-have finishing touch for a home.
Another star of the show for me was Aquabrass. Their booth resembled a super dome you’d see at a playground but inside was pure style! With a DJ spinning and a new limited edition of hand-painted tubs (aptly named Kanvas™) signed by the artist this booth had raised the bar for entertainment inside the show floor! There was even one of the artists on site painting a one-of-a-kind canvas right there! I also loved how they displayed the finishes of their faucet line…so many choices, how could a girl choose just one?
QuickDrain USA had me seeing double with not one but two booths – one at KBIS and one at IBS! In both they displayed their new Proline Recycled Shower Pan that is the most eco-friendly pan on the market. Made entirely from post-consumer plastic bottles, it brings a welcomed sense of sustainability to the bath. The company also unveiled an ingenious new Wall Drain this year! Walls are the new floors for drains! This new system is easy to install and best of all doesn’t break the flow of your tile design. It’s flexible installation possibilities had me thinking of my own bathroom remodel!
Lenova’s booth took center stage at KBIS this year for their new lines that featured both stylish options for the eco-conscious and the budget-savvy! The new Ozone faucets drew rave reviews from attendees (including myself) who marveled at the thought of having an truly effective disinfectant right at your fingertips! Already used worldwide in places like Whole Foods, the amazing water-air patented technology of the Ozone faucets infuses ozone directly into the water through a patented chamber inside the spout. Lenova’s Ozone faucets use the most powerful oxidizer available, which is three-thousand times more germicidal than chlorine and instantly kills pathogens and leaves no chemical residue. Another star in this booth was their new Apogee, a collection of budget-friendly sinks and faucets.
Such an amazing and inspiring show all around. Can’t wait to see what next year has in store!
