Aerators are an easy-to-install plumbing/water-saving device that fastens to the tip of a faucet. They control the flow of water from the faucet and allow it to mix with air resulting in a consistent flow that uses significantly less water. The free aerators available through the Isenberg offer will upgrade an existing faucet with a standard flow of 2.2 gallons per minute to a more eco-friendly 1.5 (1.2 in California). The potential savings are significant – up to 700 gallons per year for the average family. That represents the equivalent of nearly 40 showers.
